Has it really been over a year? + update

Wow.

Its been over a year. Sorry guys. Life caught up with me and Deviantart has kinda become a thing of the past. I'll update anyways because i still love you all.


Last time I updated it was August 2013 so instead of doing the month by month update like ive done in the past, im gonna go by the seasons.

Nothing particuarly interesting happened in 2013 so im gonna skip the rest of that year.


Spring 2014: My parents got me new furniture for my bedroom because the furniture i had was 19+ years old. The local anime convention ACEN was that spring as well. I got to wear my new Sailor Mercury cosplay which friends told me i nailed. Im still super happy about how that cosplay turned out. Didn't have as much fun at that years acen as i did in previous ones. I think it had something to do with my roomates. No offence to them, they are great people, its just they live in a different state and we haven't talked a lot.

Summer 2014: I WENT BACK TO LAS VEGAS WITH MY FAMILY!! We went to Zion and Bryce national parks first. Its super pretty over there and Bryce canyon was super cool to look at up close. We spent the last 3 days of the vacation in Las Vegas and since i am over 21 I GOT TO GAMBLE AND PLAY SLOTS! The day after we got there my mom and older sister went to the mandalay bay spa and me and my dad went to the buffet. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT LAS VEGAS BUFFETS.

SO. MUCH. FOOD.

After breakfast my dad bought me to a 1cent slot machine and gave me a $20 and taught me which buttons to press etc. So on my third try, i won $80. Me, my dad, and the 3 people around us were shocked. My dad couldn't stop laughing and i just kinda sat there with my mouth hanging open. That night me and my family went to this really fancy french restaurunt and i ordered escargot (SNAIL) because it had garlic and butter in it and looked like one of the better items on the menu (not real fond of fancy french food). I took one bite and swallowed. The waiter was very nice and gave me a nice soup instead. After dinner we went to the Bellagio and saw the Cirque Du Soliel show "O" which....Was mind blowing. I would happily see it again. I still listen to the soundtrack. Got back and then school rolled around.

Fall/Winter 2014: Not too much happened in the fall besides classes. Towards the beginning of  november Paulie(My precious cockatiel) got really sick. He had a bad case of Bacterial Enteritis and got worse before he got better. Because of his illness the poor bird was put on 2 antibiotics and 2 supplements. I thought i was going to loose him. It was an awful 3 weeks. He got better though and let us know he was feeling better by singing and talking. Later that month i had to stay late in the city because of an event for my sociology class. Thankfully my friend who lives and goes to school in the city lived just a couple of blocks away from the building i was in. I walked over to her dorm and we ordered chinese food and watched the 2nd hobbit movie. It was a lot of fun. December rolled around and hanukkah happened which is always fun. Also the third hobbit movie came out and i went to see it with my friend and her brother. I was a crying disaster after the movie. It was kind of pathetic! haha!

Winter/Spring 2015: Here we are. My friend CJ enlisted in the army and we are all super proud of him. Paulie is now a 15 year old birdy who i make sure is healthy and i am currently finishing my Junior year in college. I have been gaurnteed to graduate college in spring 2016. Acen is right around the corner and i am SUUUUPER excited.
